We opened the new season of Kupola, the Muslim Cultural Centre Ljubljana\u2019s podcast, with a conversation with Miha Lobnik, Slovenia\u2019s first Advocate of the Principle of Equality.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the host, I chose the question of accommodating different dietary requirements in school meals as our starting point. From there, we broadened the conversation to his professional experience and the ways in which we put equality into practice in everyday life, particularly when it concerns people whose beliefs or ways of life differ from our own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kupola creates space for conversations about faith, values and living together. My approach is grounded in clear questions, attentive listening and respect for differences. Miha Lobnik\u2019s calm and thoughtful manner made him a particularly welcome guest with whom to begin the new season.<\/span><\/p>\n
