A large crowd of visitors came to the regional premiere of the documentary film Summer &#8217;91, with which the author \u017diga Virc highlighted in an unique way the period in which the Slovenian State was born. He collected personal videos of people and added a second layer to the official story of the crucial months of Slovenian independence, showing how the lives of ordinary people, families and communities were lived. The result is a narrative that needs no subtitles, but opens up a series of points of view for a conversation about the memories of 1991. After the screening of the film, I hosted a discussion with the director and co-screenwriter \u017diga Virc and co-screenwriter Iza Strehar.
