At the Muslim Cultural Centre Ljubljana, the traditional Interfaith Breakfast took place as part of the World Interfaith Harmony Week, bringing together representatives of the largest religious communities in Slovenia.
The event was initiated by Nevzet Porić and once again confirmed the high level of interfaith dialogue in Slovenia. Discussions focused on relationships, mutual respect, and the shared responsibility of religious communities in addressing societal challenges. Speakers highlighted the importance of open dialogue and cooperation as key contributors to a more cohesive and inclusive society.
The Interfaith Breakfast serves as an important platform for the exchange of views and the strengthening of trust among different communities, particularly at a time when questions of values and coexistence are increasingly at the forefront of public discourse.
At the King Abdullah II World Interfaith Harmony Week Prize, the Slovenian event received first prize, further underscoring its international relevance and excellence.
I contributed to the event as a member of the organising team and Head of Media Relations.
